The numbers on Jesus Volt : Jesus Volt has existed for seven years, performing over 700 concerts (France, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain and a one-month tour in Australia), has sold several thousand CD’s, but more than any number can represent, they are four strong personalities: Lord Tracy (singer and harmonica), Mr. Tao (guitar), Lenine McDonald (bass), and Mr O. (drums).

A few words on Jesus Volt : Jesus Volt is a united, homogenius and mature group of musicians who figured out just how to focus their wild energy into a solid group without losing their way individually down the creative, mysterious path of music. Together, they’ve managed to use their perfomances as a way to nourish their music.

A few notes on Jesus Volt : Their music is a contemporary crossbreed of electronic sound, with a foundation richly based on Blues of the 40’s and 50’s, Funk of the 70’s, passing through the era of Rock and Roll, while keeping their ears open wide to the new sounds of the 21st century.

Their third album, “In Stereo” was recorded in July 2005 under the brilliant artistic direction of Tony Cohen, Australian producer of Nick Cave, Sacred Cowboys, as well as Michael Hutchence. He fell for Jesus Volt in 2004, during their tour in his native Australia.

Now, after 10 years on the road and 3 studio releases, Jesus Volt is finally unleashing its live outfit and takes you on a musical journey through different styles, where modern music meets ock and Roll, tinted with a strong blues sound.

A recording in the likes of the great live albums of the 70’s. That in those days meant eternal gratitude or never ending despise.

These 10 original cuts are fresh and vivid and proove that music must be in perpetual movement, diggin’ out 2 covers « Mannish Boy » and « John The Revelator » on beat box, samples and other Voodoo yells, the Volts are getting back on their feet gain in peak condition.

Absolutely their most kick-ass and best work to date. Raw, immediate, intense and wild.

A hell of a record !!!
